Carrot candies
Ingredients Quantity
Water as required
Carrot 2no
Sugar ¼ cup
1tsp cardamom powder 1 tsp
Compound Chocolate ¼ cup
Desiccated coconut ¼ cup
Method
• In a kadhai add water and keep it to boil.
• Peel the skin of the carrot and slice them.
• Remove the middle part of the carrot with the help of an apple corer, knife, or cookie cutter.
• Use the star shape cookie cutter to give it a star shape. Now blanch the carrot in the boiling water at least for 3 mins, add sugar, and cardamom powder, and let it get cooked properly.
• Till the time melt the compound chocolate first for 30 sec in a microwave, then remove it & mix it well, again microwave it for 30 sec and mix it l.
• Once the carrot is cooked properly remove it in a plate and keep it aside & let it get cool
• In another plate add the desiccated coconut, now dip the carrot in the melted chocolate and cover it with desiccated coconut
• Finally remove it in a serving plate and serve
