Russian folk orchestra is a group of musicians who play such instruments as balalaikas, domras, bayans (chromatic accordions), wind and percussion instruments. Though the history of such instruments as balalaika and domra lasts for some centuries, the orchestra itself appeared quite recently, in the late 19th century due to an enthusiast whose name was Vasiliy Andreev.
