Patience Clock - Bandsaw Woodworking Project

I built this Patience Clock to remind myself that “Only those who have the patience to do simple things perfectly ever acquire the skill to do difficult things easily.“ Friedrich von Schiller (1759-1805), dramatist, essayist and poet. It’s made from a white spruce 2x4 and a 2-3/4“ clock insert from Hobby Lobby. The symbol is a Kanji character that represents patience, among other meanings.
