Slaughter Lord - DIE BY POWER - Official Video

This is the first of a series of video clips put together to archive the bands I was involved with throughout the 80s and 90s. Slaughter Lord was the first thrash/death metal band to emerge from Australia. In their short history they also became known internationally through the tape-trading and fanzine era that help spread extreme metal throughout the world. Slaughter Lord made an impact on the cult metal underground even having 2 international acts, Ares Kingdom (USA) and At The Gates (Sweden), cover Slaughter Lord songs. A vinyl and CD release - Thrash Till Death, 86/87- of demo and rehearsal tracks, would eventually be released through Invictus Productions in Ireland. The 1980s was a rich and fertile time for heavy metal music. I hope you enjoy this small piece of Australian Metal history. HAIL!
