Remi Wolf: Vans Sidestripe Sessions | VANS

This week’s session features music by singer, songwriter and producer, Remi Wolf. Remi Wolf performed two songs, “Down The Line“ from the album I’m Allergic to Dogs! and the stand alone track “Monte Carlo,“ accompanied by art created by Robert Wallace. Remi Wolf is self-described as “funky soul-pop.“ The Northern California native found her deep love for music at a young age but began to experiment with her music when she attended USC’s Thornton School of Music. The 20 something developed her soulful sound and self-released an EP, You’re A Dog, in 2019. The impressive debut explores queer love with irresistible beats and dreamlike vocals. It didn’t take long before labels came running, and in 2020 Wolf dropped her debut major release with Island Records.; I’m Allergic To Dogs. Remi also caught the attention of acts like Kimbra, Sylvan Esso, and Hot Chips, creating remixes of Wolf’s tracks as part of her latest EP, We Love Dogs! - coming May 5th.
