And the first Oscar for Best Animated Feature goes to...(2001)

March 24, 2002: the first year of the new animation category. I was one of the animators on JIMMY NEUTRON: BOY GENIUS (written and directed by nominee John A. Davis) and I did the animation in this clip of Jimmy and Goddard politely applauding for the winner. The animation of Jimmy and Godard seen before the winner is announced was done by Rena Fowler. Had Jimmy’s movie won, my clip would have been replaced by animation done by Ray Chase, showing them react to the win.
