Queen - Live in Manchester (26th November 1973)

QUEEN QUEEN QUEEN Tour: Queen I | Opening for ’Mott the Hoople’ Date: 26th November 1973 Venue: Opera House City: Manchester, England, UK Attendance: ca. 1,900 Audio Quality: B Lineage: AUD - ? - “Opera House Rock“ (Breakdown) - CD(1) - WAV - FLAC The picture was taken by Mick Rock. As the band is winning over the audiences, tonight’s show has a pretty positive atmosphere. While Freddie’s introductory speeches are still far from being as dirty-minded and open as they would be later on, him and the band are thriving off the vibe of the crowd and playing another great show on their first tour. Apart from a few rough harmonies in ’Son and Daughter’, everythings seems to go perfectly and the 40 minutes are filled with great moments for every member. Funnily enough, this wouldn’t be the only Queen show in Manchester held on a November 26th as they would play on this exact date three more times: Twice in 1975 and once in 1979. S
