Girl Guides (1969)

East Grinstead, Sussex. Nice footage of a group of girl guides walking along a suburban street. They wear great mini skirted outfits. Narrator observes how modern the guides are these days. On an adventure holiday the girls rock climb, paddle in canoes and cook food in the open air. The camp is based at Blacklands Farm in Sussex. Potatoes are wrapped in tin foil and put on the fire. Sequence showing some of the guides canoeing on a river. Gang Show sequence. Guides and scouts are seen arriving at the Odeon cinema in Golders Green, seems as though it is the first time that girls have been allowed to appear in the Gang Show. Narr
