London flooding causes chaos on streets, Tube, buses and Pudding Mill Lane DLR station

Homes, roads and Tube stations have been flooded while two London hospitals asked patients to stay away after thunderstorms battered the South East of England on Sunday. The Environment Agency had six flood warnings in place across the country’s South East on Sunday, while there were 19 alerts for potential flooding active throughout England and Wales. In London, flash floods sparked chaos as a month’s worth of rainfall deluged parts of the capital in the space of just a few hours as the Met Office issued an amber warning.
