Back in 2009, we started a feature called Touring Scenes with the stated aim of asking “a DJ or live act to tell us the story of what happens when the music isn’t playing.“ FaltyDL, Spencer Parker, Kim Ann Foxman, Ralph Lawson and nine others gave first-person accounts of their time on the road, revealing the incredible highs and crushing lows that are all in a day’s work. The feature was great in the written form (we hope you’ll agree) but we felt that there was no better way of understanding this lifestyle than to pick up a camera and document these experiences firsthand.
