In Kuala Lumpur, its so easy to get tasty food whether its chinese, malay or indian food. Since young i have been enjoying this famous black fat noodles, which i dont even know the name that time. Its one of the best chinese noodles. So in todays menu i have prepared a tasty KL restaurant style Hokkien Mee. Its so simple with basic ingredients and yes its HALAL and its tasted really good. So to all Hokkien Mee lovers you should try this recipe. Complete ingredients ||Main Ingredients|| 400grams Udon Noodles Few Cabbage and Carrots Few Mustard Greens (sawi) 1tsp Anchovies Powder 5 prawns 100grams of Chicken Few pcs of Fish Cake 5 Cloves of Garlic 300ml of Water 3tbsp of Oil ||Sauce|| 4tbsp of Dark Soy Sauce 2tbsp of Light Soy Sauce 1tbsp of Oyster Sauce ||Topping|| Fried Chicken Skin (crispy) **Method** First add the oil in the pan, once its hot add the garlic and stir fry them well. Next add the chicken and fry them together with the garlic for 2mins. Then add the oyster and light soy sauce together with the water and let it come to a nice boil. Once started boiling add the noodles (udon or yellow) together with the cabbage and carrots in and mix them well. Let it come to a nice boil and add the dark soy sauce. Mix it well and add the anchovies powder and this give a nice umami flavor. Cover the lid and let it cook for few minutes till the water reduces or thickens. Once the sauce thickens add the prawns, fish cake and sawi in, mix them well and let it cook for 3mins and finally garnish the noodle with crispy fried chicken skin and our tasty hokkien noodle is ready.
