I wrote this song because I was jaded about being in the music industry and feeling like everyone is excelling at their craft way better and faster than me. I don’t feel that way now, but it’s easy to slip into the ’What do they have that I don’t’? mentality. This song is a personification of those fears about not ’making it’, and how it self-sabotages you. I hope you enjoy it as much as I loved making this.
