HZD is one of my favorite games of all time, and anyone who has played it can probably understand why. In this video, we tried to capture the pulsing excitement of the game, Aloy’s passion, and some truly gorgeous environments. Can’t wait for the sequel! The track was co-arranged and produced by Andrew “zircon” Aversa, based on the incredible writing of composer Joris de Man and vocal performance by Julie Elven. The lyrics are my own, written from Aloy’s perspective. We filmed the video with our amazing director Landon Donoho at some nearby locations in Maryland… including the woods across the street from our house, where we built our campfire. Landon brought along his drone (named Falcor) for some epic aerial shots.
