Clouds and sky with watercolor - Painting wet in wet - Relaxing speedpaint

How to paint watercolor clouds. In this video, I am sharing how I created this sky painting. I find that to paint a dramatic sky with lots of clouds the easiest method is to wet the paper on both sides. This way, the paper stays wet for a really long time and allows you to work on the clouds for at least half-hour. It is very important to use 100% cotton paper. Other kinds of paper will get dry so quickly that you won’t have time to do much painting. This original painting is available here: Colors used: Hansa Yellow, Quinacridone Siena, Indigo, Cobalt. I use a variety of watercolor paint brands (Daniel Smith, Holbein, , Nevskaya Palitra) but all of them are professional watercolors.
