Yao Zongxun demonstrates basic yiquan exercises. Pair work is also shown. Yao Zongxun (1917-1985) - disciple and successor of Wang Xiangzhai, the founder of yiquan. As a child, he moved to Beijing, studied at the Faculty of Culture of Peking University. From the age of 16, he studied martial arts with Hong Xuzhu. From 1937, he also studied quan from Wang Xianzhai. Received true transmission, was nicknamed “Xian’s Successor“.
