I’m very proud of this remaster of the Queen concert at Hammersmith Odeon which took me 2 week to do, I literally spent my whole day and night on this project, despite that there are still a few flaws that problem of audio desynchronisation Otherwise all the other audio is perfectly synchronized the mix is good and there are no other major problems. This is the final night of Queen’s Crazy tour and their final show of the 1970’s. This concert was not initially planned, as the tour was supposed to end on the 22nd, but Queen was added to the roster of bands organized by Paul McCartney and Kurt Waldheim to raise money for the people of Kampuchea. Queen were the first band to play in these series of concerts. This was also Freddie’s last live concert without a moustache On this night, we say goodbye to If You Can’t Beat Them, Don’t Stop Me Now, Spread Your Wings, and ’39. The latter two would be very rarely referenced in later years, but never fully played again. I also decided to upscale the video to 4K 50FPS. Surround Sound, corrected the colours and brightness and sharpened the video. It’s one of Queen’s best gigs (maybe even their best), the whole band is on fire, the instrumental is incredible, and Freddie is in amazing shape and delivers the best versions of : Let Me Entertain You, Somebody To Love, Don’t Stop Me Now, and We Are The Champions.
