King and Queen announce dates for royal tour of Australia and Samoa

The King and Queen are to undertake a tour of Australia and Samoa from Friday 18 to Saturday 26 October, the Royal Family has announced. The royals will meet the Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese, and will attend the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, which will be held in Samoa. King Charles, who received treatment for cancer earlier this year, will also meet Professor Georgina Long and Professor Richard Scolyer to discuss their work on melanoma - one of Australia’s most common cancers.
