“Millions of listeners-in have heard with delight M. de Groot and his famous Piccadilly Orchestra, but only comparatively few have seen him playing. We found him at home practising...“ M/S of de Groot in his drawing room wearing a dressing gown playing the violin. A young boy (his son presumably) sits and listens. De Groot walks as he plays then sits on the piano. “One problem is to deal with my ever increasing post“, said M. de Groot, as his little boy brought another basketful.“ M/S of De Groot at a writing desk. He writes with a quill pen. His son walks in with a wire basket full of letters. De Groot takes out two large letters then his son tips the rest on the table.
