Just two minutes later, Zach Aston-Reese scored a short-handed goal with a beautiful assist from Frederick Gaudreau, putting the Penguins ahead of the Sabres by 3 going into the 3rd period. To start off the final period, Crosby scored a goal, assisted by Guentzel and Matheson.
