How 100 Tons of Oysters are Farmed Off the Coast of France — Vendors
On Ile de Ré, an island off the west of France, expert fishermen use massive parks to produce around 100 to 110 tons of oysters per year. This region of the country specializes in well-iodized oysters that aren’t too fleshy that are used at top local restaurants like Atalante.
