Volvo Cross Country C202 "Laplander Camper".

Volvos first real SUV sold under the name C202 Volvo Cross Country and the nickname “Volvo Laplander“. It’s a “Communist Volvo“ made in Hungary by Csepel Auto 1978-1980. It’s very small and probably one of the smallest overland 4x4 campers measuring only 4 meters (13 ft) long and m (5 ft) wide. Car was original build for a trip to South Africa by Arabian countrys and red sea cost and used there as a dive car, it was full custom payed= tripticket= passage du carnet for all arabic and african countryes. Car was 2022 sold for health reasons after 31 years of ownership. The new owners have now done the first long tour to North Cape and then back to mideurope by east countrys a trip on total 10000km =6230miles
