I have lived in Spain for over 8 years and speak fluent Spanish, and I also learnt Italian to intermediate level while at university (but have forgotten most of it). I also tried learning Portuguese, Greek and Swahili very briefly. » Can you recommend a TV series to help me improve my English? My recommendation is to find something you love watching in your native language, and then watch it in English. This way, you already know the characters, you know the story, and can focus on the language. My personal favourite American TV programmes are FRIENDS () and The Office (US) ().
