Intonation in F-Dur | Sebastian Anton Scherer (1631-1712)

After a long day out I came back home late in the evening yesterday and decided to do a “Prima Vista” recording from one of my baroque music books. I choose ad random a page number and found this piece. And I love it! It’s deliciously strange piece with lots of things going on. First a majestic start, followed by a short slow down, followed by a festive “animato” part with a majestic slow ending. Crazy! Full organ, powerful 8’ and 16’ reeds in the pedal. Let’s go! Woohoo!
