Life in a Siberian village, Old Believer and a hermit woman from an abandoned village in the taiga Today we are visiting two wonderful people, Dmitry Petrovich and Yulia Fedorovna. Dmitry, an Old Believer, lives in the village of Khor-Tagna, recognized as one of the most beautiful villages in Russia. He works as a labor teacher at a local school, does wood carving, and creates wooden sculptures with local children. Dmitry, an excellent family man, builds a house, runs a large farm, and raises an Old Believer church with his own efforts. Yulia, a resident of the village of Khorbutyrino, lives not far from Khor-Tagna, but it is very difficult to get to it along the taiga road; in winter it is often swept away, and in summer it turns into a swamp.
