Lockdown sessions - Big Band Metheny: 21/03/2021 8PM

This 18-piece contemporary jazz orchestra puts a new slant on the music of guitarist Pat Metheny, one of the biggest artists in jazz. Big Band Metheny plays many of Metheny’s best known and most challenging compositions, including material from the Grammy-winning albums Offramp, First Circle, Still Life Talking and Secret Story. The band has a unique library of music by several arrangers and features some great soloists from the London jazz scene. Big Band Metheny is led by bass player Dominic Bentham. The rhythm section features pianist Hilary Cameron and drummer Nigel Appleton.
