This cassette was issued in 83 by the Les Disques Du Crépuscule label on a cassette called Chicago ’82, a Dip in the Lake. Scattershot performances from the 1982 New Music Festival in Chicago, 1982. This tape was done as a tribute to John Cage’s 70th birthday. Features cool folks like Glenn Branca ensemble (feat. Thurston Moore & Lee Ranaldo), Charlemagne Palestine, Harold Budd, Meredith Monk, and a long conversation between John Cage and Wim Mertens.
