PAINTERS OF POMPEII in BOLOGNA

In 2022-2023 the archaeological museum in Bologna staged an exhibition of frescoes- I PITTORI DI POMPEII. Almost half of these works had never left Naples before, ever since their discovery in the late 18th century. Many are dark and compelling, propelling the viewer nearly two thousand years back in time. This video was filmed on a hazy Sunday morning, 15th January. Necessary Animals provide the music.
