HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN NAGALAND - 2 VICTIMS RESCUED FROM DIMAPUR

Two victims of human trafficking and exploitation were rescued from Dimapur, Nagaland. The victims were traced and rescued by Assam Police with help from Nagaland Police. According to police reports, the victims are from Biswanath Chariali, Assam. The trafficker, identified as Dipankar Roy from Tinsukia has been arrested. Dipankar has prior history of trafficking, blackmailing and exploiting vulnerable women, specially widows and divorcees .
