McCall pays a visit to Tony Coster, a business man who had previously worked with McCall’s murdered friend. He informs him his colleague, Johnny Sax, in fact has been arrested and will pin the murder on him when questioned. McCall’s intention is that it Coster will visit Sax after questioning to kill him where McCall can confront them both. Mickey then calls Sax to pre-warn him of Coster’s intentions to kill him.
