How To Make a Bokken - with Master Nidome Yoshiaki, Japanese Artisan

The master craftsman Nidome Yoshiaki making a custom extra-long tanto designed by SeidoShop for Miyamoto Tsuruzo Shihan (Aikido) and now available as a standard product : While a lot of tools are used for this production (as it’s now a regular Seido product that has its own set of settings at the workshop), the overall process still took about 3h (can be reduced to about 1.5 to 2h / piece when working on multiple pieces). All custom bokken are fully handmade, which takes about 5 hours. This video doesn’t contain any subtitles/indication yet, but we’ll work on it soon !
