X-Blades: Sky Islands Walkthrough HD No Commentary Part 2: Serpentious Road

Sky Islands levels are constructed from the assets of original game. Since they can’t surprise with new content, they surprise with impressive compositions and different style. Each level is not a closed arena, but a journey through location of spectacular scale. We climb a pretty high structure built on a mountain, and it’s a very nice touch at 3:44 where you see a faraway bridge above you. It looks like a decoration, but then you notice a red mist blocking the passage and realise you’ll get to that bridge eventually. Looking at places you’ve just fought through from above is also impressive.
