Magnitude 3.6 earthquake strikes parts of Sydney

Parts of greater Sydney have been shaken by a magnitude 3.6 earthquake. Geoscience Australia says the quake struck near Penrith just before 9pm Friday night. Tremors were felt in the Blue Mountains and parts of the city’s west. NSW Police say they received hundreds of inquiries from concerned residents. There have so far been no reports of injuries or damage.
