Ancient Greeks in Tajikistan: Takht-i Sangin

In this video we will take a look at the ancient Greeks who settled at the furthest frontier of the world known to them: Bactria. Here was found a hellenistic settlement in modern-day Tajikistan which is known as Takht-i Sangin, which is Persian for “a Throne of Stone“. It’s ancient name is unknown to us.
