Never thought I’d be doing a surf rock cover, but ever since I’ve got my Telecaster I’ve been looking for a good song to showcase it so here we are! I’m actually surprised with how well this one turned out; this is the first time using my new Vox AC15 in a cover so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I easily got a nice twangy tone that I think fits perfectly for this tune! I want this month to be about experimenting and getting out of my musical comfort zone, and I can already say that it’s very refreshing trying something completely different.
