We see so much water around us all the time that it’s hard to think about how the rest of the solar system isn’t blessed with the same abundance of the resource. But in reality, that’s how it is. Researchers have looked far and wide, trying to find some sort of evidence of water anywhere in our galaxy, and well, it’s finally happened. NASA just announced that the James Webb Telescope has detected not just water, but an ocean on Jupiter’s moon, Europa.
