Balancé (Waltz) sideways: Ballet Class Tutorial (beginner level)

The balancé sideways needs ongoing, turned out legs whilst the arms and upper body can enjoy a variation of movements. I very much prefer to do this step from a relevé (half point) into a tombé (fall). I find the other version of walzing through the plié can often look like a ’peasant-dance’. You want to go OVER the puddle, not THROUGH the puddle/ ’keep your shoes dry and clean’.
