For that day’s lunch, I made green peas and potato mixture to be placed in the middle of steamed cabbage leaves and folded into parcels, and cooked in coconut milk, a pink raita salad mixed with cabbage and a snake gourd white curry. Since there should be something spicy to go with, I again decided to make spicy chicken curry as well. Even though in the morning, on my way to pick cabbages, my brother asked me to make cabbage and chicken mixed meatball fry, I brushed aside that idea because I didn’t like to fill up the lunch table only with cabbages so instead I decided to make a spicy chicken curry to suit the menu with a variety of tastes too. But I had to escape our brother’s pestering as well, so since he wanted to make the chicken meatball fry by himself, I also kept quiet. After all, to prepare something that one would love to eat at one’s own home is one’s pleasure and privilege. I truly believe that Happiness is very vital above all the other things in life. Brothers Devilled Meatball fry is always first class with a perfect combination of taste and spices. It is well-known a fact in our house that my brother’s dishes are more spicier than mine. Anyway, when men cook, they always add spices more elaborately than women. Our lunch table looked so elegant with various colours with a mixture of a very colourful salad made of beetroot, chunks of cabbage, red and green apple slices and curd, the cabbage parcel dish cooked in thick coconut milk, brothers’ soulful meatball devil and the snake gourd curry. Tomorrow I am going to be busy with rest of the cabbages that I picked, as I planned to preserve them for a long time without getting them spoiled. Love you All!
