Installing a Wind Foil Box

Here’s a way to install a reinforced deep Tuttle foil box with recess bolts. This method provides a strong connection to the deck of the board as well as to the bottom of the board. The techniques here is similar to installing a standard foil box that you may have purchased. Some of the items you will need include: Polyurethane glue (Gorilla Glue) Carbon fiber cloth 4oz fiberglass cloth Epoxy resin Glass bubbles/thickening agent Fairing compound Contact cement (for footpads) Non-skid powder Paint/primer Clearcoat Check out my other video on how to make a foil box from scratch.
