SONIC YOUTH - Cotton Crown (HQ)

Hi everyone. We made a series of 5 videos to celebrate the 36th anniversary of the Sonic Youth album Sister, released on June 16, 1987. Using footage from the spectacular film ’Deus e o Diabo na Terra do Sol’ by the great Brazilian film director Glauber Rocha One of our biggest inspirations to create these videos was the manifesto of the Brazilian Cinema Novo, written by Glauber, entitled “A Estética da Fome“, which added to our current time/place of life, says a lot about what we want and what we feel based on where we are and how we live.
