Behind the scenes of The Influence List 2024 photoshoot

Coinciding with International Women’s Day 2024, The Independent has compiled a list of the influential women of the moment, inviting some to be photographed for an exhibit displayed at London’s Outernet. As their photos were taken, Carol Vorderman, Kate Garraway MBE, Maggie Alphonsi MBE, Amy Dowden and others spoke to us to about the women in their lives that inspire them, what they would tell their younger self and what they think needs to change for greater gender equality.
