How to Troubleshoot Installing Xbox One Controller Drivers on PC Running Windows 7

WINDOWS 7 AND 8 SHOULD NOW DOWNLOAD THE DRIVER AUTOMATICALLY WHEN YOU PLUG IN THE CONTROLLER. YOU MAY STILL HAVE TO NAVIGATE TO THE DRIVER, AS SHOWN IN THE VIDEO, IF WINDOWS STILL CAN’T FIND IT. There seems to be quite a few people having problems installing the Xbox One Controller drivers, myself included. The drivers show up as not installed. There is a solution which I found through a bit of research and luck. As there weren’t many tutorials online for it so I decided to do one myself. It worked for me
