Later on November 27, a Qatari official said that a deal had been reached to extend a truce between Israel and Hamas for an additional two days, allowing for further exchanges of hostages and prisoners and for more humanitarian aid to enter Gaza. Many displaced Gazans are on their way home, intending to return home in search of daily necessities. Although the sound of gunfire has stopped, many buildings on the strip have been bombed into rubble. One local showed CGTN Stringer piles of rubble near his home, which was leveled by the bombing.
