Pottery demo at Avanos in Turkey

Avanos is a small town in Turkey known for its pottery thanks to its proximity of the Red river which provides clay for the industry. On the day tour around Cappadocia we ventured into Avanos and were treated to a pottery demo. Pretty impressive. Later I tried my hand at pottery and managed to create a simple bowl.
