The Man Who Did The World’s Biggest Backflip | A Lap With @TomIsted

Hailing from Liskeard in Cornwall, Tom Isted has been a slopestyle athlete on the cusp of greatness for many years. Attending events such as The Nines and Crankworx, Tom was a fan favourite. This year, he hit superstardom when he achieved his first podium at the Crankworx Rotorua, beating slopestyle icon Nicholi Rogatkin. Tom then became a household name (and a World Record holder) at the incredible Darkfest event in South Africa, hosted by Sam Reynolds. He shook the establishment with a MONSTER 120ft backflip, breaking the record set by three-time Red Bull Rampage winner Cam Zink, who recorded 110ft in 2021. We catch up with Tom to hear about his career and how it feels to stand on a Crankworx podium, and pull back on the bars to flip over a 120ft gap… Who do you want us to shred with next?
