Scroll Saw Art - Intarsia? (Segmentizing)

I came up with this process as something different on the scroll saw. This eliminates the need to suspend pieces if they are not connected to the outside pattern, and it resembles intarsia without all of the sanding and contouring. In the video I use Oak, Cherry, and Black Walnut. Although the Cherry and Oak look similar now, the Cherry will darken over time to a deep reddish color, giving it more contrast to both the Walnut and Oak. Thanks to one of my viewers who classified this as segmentizing!
