Track 1 from his eleventh and final solo album “Loud Hailer“ released in 2016 copyright Atco Records and his first release in six years. It was his second release for Atco Records, having been with Epic for most of his career. Jeff’s enthusiasm for his craft always shone through and this is an upbeat album of down and dirty rockers as only Jeff could play them and all the songs are original. He assembled a new band of young musicians he admired, who co-wrote the songs with him and the results are impressive. The production of the album is also brilliant. It debuted strongly on the world’s charts but fell off sooner than expected. It reached the Top 100 in fourteen countries and the Top 40ish in ten, peaking at No. 15 in Scotland, No. 11 in Switzerland & No. 5 in New Zealand. He’d go on to meet and form his musical collaboration with actor Johnny Depp and I think they had the time of their lives as true soulmates who were just happy to be making music together.
