Carrick bend round mat

In this tutorial I show you how to make a Carrick bend rope mat. This pattern is featured in the Encyclopedia of knots and fancy rope work. I used 1/4 inch (6mm) rope here, this time jute. You can make the mat bigger or smaller by adding or reducing the number of loops made. Enjoy the video!
