Watermill project is my personal project which was created in Maya Autodesk,Unreal Engine5 and Adobe After Effects.
During the work on the on the Watermill project, I set myself several main tasks:
-creation of large objects and work with tile textures;
-mixing materials with Blend Material shader and using them with vertex painting;
-creating realistic shaders in UE5;
-Work on the composition.
In UE5 I made a river flow water shader, a glass material and a decal that makes the surface inside it wet to give the project more realism.
I took the rest of the materials from the Megascans library, combined them using the Blend Material shader.
The lack of unique UV mapping and the same texel throughout the project’s geometry, except for the objects that I took from Megascans: bags, shovels, ropes, stones and plants) allowed me to use the same textures, making it unique with vertex painting.
