The Australian referendum to give aboriginals a ‘voice’ has been a miserable flop

Before the coming of white people to Australia in the late eighteenth century, the people living there had not advanced beyond the Stone Age. We are now supposed to pretend that they had a civilisation which was at least as rich as that of Europe. #:~:text=Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people find the term offensive,is not written and recorded.
