#video_Alice Shadow transition animation concept ▶️ Recently, I’d been working on more edits, to try and catch that sinister vibe for our antagonist in Asylum. I personally don’t think any of the concepts we’ve got floating around right now are perfect, (this one included) but I’m proud of these 😌 There’s some killer concepts from Joey and Omri too, and right now, after a ton of work, I think we’re all putting a pin in this and moving on. My chief concern was the comments I saw about some earlier concepts being too similar in visual language to “the ruin” from AMA, and not allowing our Shadow to stand on its own themes visually. So, I dived into the feedback from the Patrons and what I saw on the ‘gram, to tie in more of the “shapeless horror” and “born of fire” aesthetic. I worked from Omri’s gorgeous base “adult Alice” artwork, and after some hefty photoshopping, here’s the end result. Super fun process, and I’m glad this one got a bit of airtime today 👌
